Nikki & I have so much FUN watching Brady & Lucas during the baby Story-Time at The Centerville Library. The 2-of them are absolutely adorable together. They love to listen to the stories, clap their hands, & dance to the nursey rhymes. Brady is really starting to "blossom" these past couple of weeks...We are just so proud of our chubby little guy:)

Today was tons of FUN!!! We went over to The Yost's house for our Friday play-date & decorated "heart shaped" cookies for Valentines Day. Benjamin & Brady had a blast hangin'-out with their cousins Jacob & Lucas Dice; Taylor, Lucy & Addie Kilbane; and Lucas & Zachary Yost. It was awesome to watch how well all 9-of the kids played together...hopefully the Kilbane girls will join us every week from now on b/c they made our play-group even more FUN than it already is!!! THANK YOU Michelle for having all of us over...see you next Friday at Bounce U!!!

After enjoying lunch at the Cracker Barrel with daddy, the boys & I went to Krogers with Great Grandma...what FUN!!! I had to take a picture of the cart that the boys always "insist" on riding in EVERY-TIME we grocery shop b/c they both look so cute in it! I have to admit, whom-ever designed this kid-friendly cart is brilliant, but I must say theydefinitely did not have the smaller woman/mom in mind while creating it...I sware to comfortably navigate that thing down the isles without taking out any & all people/things that cross your path you must weigh at least 250 lbs...RIGHT MOMS??? But, hey it is worth breaking a sweat b/c my kids actually look forward to going Krogering...

Back To School...

His Toddler Size Backpack Is As Big As He Is...HA!

Today is Benjamin's 1st day back to school after a long unexpected winter break...he missed the "planned" 2-weeks while we were on our family vacation in Miami, which was then immediately followed by another "unplanned" week off due to his doctor's order's after yet another trip to the Emergency Room. Ben's most recent hospital visit was because he was jumping on mommy & daddy's bed (as he has been told countless times NOT to) and fell backwards off the footboard, did a back flip and managed to land completely flat on his face...resulting in a broken nose & a fractured right cheekbone! Thank you so much Ben for that "welcome home" present, it was just what we needed to snap us right back into reality! Ha Ha! So, now that our little man is healing quite nicely, he is anxious to get back to school and to see his teachers & his little friends today at The Goddard School In Centerville.

Today Benjamin, Brady & I went over to Aunt Nikki's house for a playdate. Along with our 4-boys (Jacob, Ben, Brady & Lucas) we also had; The Yost Crew (Michelle, Lucas & Zack), Emily Nelson & her brand-new adorable daughter Addie. As always the boys had a blast playing together & the mom's had a fantastic time chatting together as well. Thanks Nik for having us all over you made our Friday a FUN one! Check back next Friday because we are having a Valentine Cookie Decorating Party at The Yost's house...Could be very interesting!!!

There is nothing like the love of a cousin...

Today, February 4th is a very special day within our family...Brian and Great Grandma both share the same birthday!!! We had alot of fun celebrating their BIG day this week. The festivities started on Tuesday night when we all (Nikki, Jacob, Lucas, Benjamin, Brady, Brian, Great Grandma & myself) went to The Chop House for a wonderful dinner. Wednesday Brian and I went to The Argosy for a little gambling (just the 2-of us), while Great Grandma spent the day, their actual birthday, with our boys. We all spent the night at her (my parents) house Wednesday night (of course Ben had to sleep with grandma in her bed), and woke up to Lucas & Jacob joining us for the day while Aunt Nikki went to work. Thursday Great Grandma & I had a blast watching the 4-boys play their hearts out; a little bit of basketball, football, dinosaurs, trucks, trains & lots & lots of books!!! Brian & Nik joined us for lunch to end the perfect 3-day birthday celebration!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY to 2-of my favorite people in my life...I love you both so much!!!
