Meeting Anna bilderback!!!

Today we went over to Mr. & Mrs. DiMatteo's house to meet Anna Bilderback for the first time! Molly, Kevin, & Anna were in town for the weekend from Charlotte and it was so good to spend the whole day with them! Anna & Brady were so cute together and all of the kids had a ball playing together. It was great being back in the DiMatteo's home (Molly's childhood home) because it brought back many wonderful memories for me. Molly & I have been friends for over 25 years and she is such a special part of my life. I look forward to our children growing up together and experiencing the same kind of friendships we were & continue to be blessed with.

The 4th of July...

Today was a great day in spite of the bad weather!!! Unfortunately we missed the parade because of the rain, but instead we enjoyed some time with Uncle Scott at his house while we waited for the rain to clear. After the weather improved, we walked around the center of town and enjoyed lots of great food as a family. We owe a big thanks to grandma Aiken and Great Grandma Aiken for a wonderful cook-out tonight, the food was great! Since Brady was extremely tired after such an action-packed day, Benjamin & daddy went to the high school with Joe Miles & Randy to enjoy his first fireworks display (that he can remember)! Daddy said that they had a wonderful time and by experiencing the fireworks through Ben's eyes it was like his very first time seeing them too! We all had the best 4th of July ever!!!
