The Zoo Keeper & His Three Animals...
Jake (Zookeeper), Benjamin (Elephant), Brady (Lion), & Luke (Zebra)Okay, So I thought a picture with two toddlers was difficult to accomplish...well why not try all four of the "Aiken" boys together?! Needless to say it was quite a ZOO at Portrait Innovations today (ha)! I think Jacob (the zookeeper) is going to have quite a job in store for himself keeping; Ben (the elephant), Brady (the lion), & Luke (the zebra) under control on the night of trick-o-treat this year...Although they may be a bit WILD I think the four of them may be the cutest ones at the zoo on the 31st!
Brady (1-Year) Benjamin (2 1/2-Years)
Well we did it again...the quarterly pictures at the studio are complete!!! Although the finished product makes it all well worth it, taking pictures of a one & two year old TOGETHER can be quite a task to say the least. We have finally learned from experience...Ben will do anything while passing a ball (what a surprise), & Brady is perfectly content as long as there is clapping involved (HA)!!! I think these pictures speak for themselves, we are so lucky to have such HAPPY little guys to brighten-up our lives on a daily basis!!!

Brady Scott's 1st Birthday!!!
I can't believe it...my little baby turned 1 year old today! We had the perfect 1st birthday celebration for him at our house, along with many of our family & friends. "Soccer" was the party theme (Surprise, surprise!), so of course we covered all of the details right down to the adorable soccer ball cake. We started the evening off with a wonderful dinner from City Barbecue...yum! After all of our tummy's were nice & full we headed outside for our mini- children's concert given by Dorey, our music class instructor from the Kettering Rec Center. I have to say that in my opinion this was the highlight of the party for everyone!!! Watching Brady, his big brother Benjamin, his cousins Jacob & Lucas, his "little friends"; Reese & Riley Neugebauer, Madeline & Denver Lee, Jackson Darr, & Jace Jones was one of the cutest things I think I have ever experienced!!! They all smiled, laughed, & most importantly danced their hearts out for the entire 45 minutes she sang & played the guitar. For the grand finally of the concert Dorey lead the way back inside for all of us to sing Happy Birthday to "The Brady Boy"!!! He felt like a king with his own little personal chocolate cake to dig into...he was so adorable stuffing his face (although the mess was a bit stressful for his mommy, Ha!) All-in-all I think the party was tons of fun for everyone. We definitely feel so extremely blessed to have so many great friends & family to share our baby's special day with...THANK YOU to everyone who was able to join us today & for all of Brady's "little friends" who were unable to make it (Vince, Anna, Laine, Lynsie, Skylar, Lucas, Zack & Maddie), we missed you all & hope to see you next year!!!

Benjamin's 1st Ohio State Game!!!
Today was the day daddy has been waiting for...Benjamin's 1st time in the "Horseshoe"!!! Daddy, Benjamin, & I went to the game with Aunt Nikki & Jacob; and grandpa Mayer & Uncle Scott. We decided to leave the babies (Brady & Lucas) with Grandma & Grandpa Aiken and just take the "BIG BOYS" to their 1st official college football game. Needless to say, we had a blast! Not only did we get to cheer on daddy's favorite team, The Buckeye's, but we also got to see them play against The Bobcats! Nikki & Jake represented the Aiken family school by wearing green and the rest of us stuck with the "normal weekend wear" (scarlet & gray). It was a tough decision for me, but in the end I decided to make the day enjoyable (aka not making my husband mad), so I changed last minute out of my green and into my red!!! Before the game we tailgated in a park where Ben & Jake had fun playing on the playground and passing the football. The boys cheered for the entire game and had the time of their lives...Thanks for planning our first family O.S.U. game daddy we had so much FUN!!!

Brady & Lucas' 1st music Class...
After dropping his BIG brother off for his 1st day of school, Brady was off to HIS 1st music class with his cousin Lucas! Great Grandma joined us for this very special day and we all had a great time singing along with "Dory" (their teacher). Brady didn't stop laughing & clapping the entire 1/2 hour of the class. All-in-all both "school" days were a SUCCESS!!!
Benjamin's 1st Day of School...
Today was Benjamin Gary's 1st day at The Goddard school in Centerville. I am not sure who it was the hardest on...him or mommy??? As usual (lucky for Ben) he had lots of family support to walk him to his big-boy classroom this morning; Mommy & Daddy, Brady, Lucas, Jacob (who's classroom is right down the hall!), Aunt Nikki, and Great Grandma Aiken. It is so hard for me to believe that my baby is old enough to participate in a "classroom" setting already. He will be going every Monday and Wednesday this school year. He had the BEST time and hasn't stopped talking about "his new friends" since I picked him up hours ago.
